Lip Chromes

Hi everyone,

Over the next few weeks until I reopen I will be doing posts on the blog about some of my products.

I thought it would be a great way to familiarize yourself with what I will have available when I reopen and a perfect time for you to ask questions, tell me what you would like to see, and any other general conversation.

So this time I'm going to talk about my lip chromes. Surprisingly they aren't as popular as I was hoping they would be, but they are a great lip product. For the ladies who have tried them they have fallen in love and have come back for more.

I created them to be a product that could be used alone or mixed together to create new colors. We have all heard a lot about OCC lip tars and I love the idea, but the one thing that kept coming up as I read reviews is that they were drying on the lips, so my main goal here was to create a mixture that
1. was moisturing
2. had great adhesion and long lasting
3. great pigment and color

Sadly mainly the stains are the only thing that lasts the longest, but I have had good reports back about how moisturizing and long lasting the chromes are. I do know that the black did feather so that will be reformulated to fix that problem.

One of the other things I wanted to do was create products that were satiny, sparkly, and not just matte as many of the lip tars are. So with the 8 colors I made there was quite the mixture.

Now, on to the colors.

Spring is the first choice. It is a light, frosty pink color that is light and perfect for well, spring! As with all the lip chromes, a small amount will do the job. And are wonderful if you have dry lips. I had one customer tell me that she absolutely loves the lip chromes. Her lips have not been chapped all winter and has used up the whole container and couldn't wait to get more. That's a whole 1/2 ounce!

Now we have Dark Knight! This is a brownish color with lots of bronze sparkle. It is dark, but also a fun color and will add some bronze to other colors!

Just above is Bruise. This is a pretty satin lavender color that is perfect for spring or just when you want something light and soft.

Now we have Blood Oath, which is a gorgeous deep burgundy color that can be worn alone or mixed with a lighter or darker color to change it even more!

Next is Cloud 9. A pretty satiny, frosty white. Not a blah matte, so when mixed it adds a dimension to the color you are adding it to!

Next up is Forest. This is a dark green color, but also has undertones of blue. It is unusual and you can do so much with it. Because it is a cool green, you can cool down warmer colors or wear it alone. To be honest, the picture doesn't do it justice. The color is much more vibrant in person!

Next on the agenda, Abyss. No collection would be complete without the black color to darken anything down! And that is what Abyss is for the chromes.

And finally, molten silver! This is a true silver and when mixed with other lip chromes creates a fun metallic look! It's fun for the holiday seasons also! when silver is in and you can wear it however you would like!

So that is the listing of the chromes at the present time! They come in a 1/2 oz./15 ml sqeeze tube for $ 12.50. And because of their high pigment level and thick concentration they will last a long time! And yes, before you ask, there will be future colors coming in these. I am also looking at reformulating them in the future so that they are even thicker.
